A mid-week Bible study to encourage and support families in the spiritual formation process 

The ministry derives its name from Timothy, the first second-generation Christian mentioned in the Bible. As a child and young     adult, Timothy was discipled by his family (his mother and grandmother) and by the wider community of faith, especially the Apostle Paul.

The children, with their families, read a portion of Scripture and answer related questions at home each week to prepare for class.  On Wednesday evenings, children meet in small groups based on grade and gender. Related activities, songs, and a monthly memory verse reinforce the truths of the Bible. Parents gather for teaching or small groups of their own. 

Registration for Timothy Team and Tiny Tim 2012/2013 will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 7 PM in the Student Ministries Worship Center on the 2nd floor.  This is a mandatory meeting for parents wanting to participate with their children in Timothy Team and Tiny Tims for 2012/2013.

Tiny Tims (Threes to Kindergarten)

Tiny Tims is the corresponding component for younger children. The Tiny Tims have no at-home preparation, but hear the same Bible Story each week as their elementary age counterparts. Related activities, songs, and a monthly memory verse reinforce the truths of the Bible. Parents gather for teaching or small groups of their own. 

This ministry uniquely partners the church and the family to work on the same thing at the same time with the same strategy.
