Central's Center for Children

Central's Center for Children provides year-round childcare services starting at six weeks of age through the pre-Kindergarten class.  After-school care is provided for Elementary students during the school year with full-time care provided during summer months and during public school closings for holidays and teacher restructuring.

Full-time childcare services only are provided and the Center operates daily from 7:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  A hot lunch and morning and afternoon snacks are provided by the Center.  Elementary students are served lunch during the summer months.

The Center provides predominantly daycare services, but preschool curriculum is implemented in our 3-5 year old age group.  Fine and gross motor skills and social skills are developed in all age groups at the Center.  Once a week, the Director of Children's Ministries at Central United Methodist Church conducts a Christian Chapel Service for children ages 2-5 and also for Elementary children during the summer months.

Childcare at the Center is made available to all church members as well as other families within the Northwest Arkansas area.  Enrollment is filled on a first-call and room availability basis.
