Serve in Music & Worship Ministries
Joyful Sounds Elementary Choir Adult Helper
Provides assistance to choir leader in a variety of ways. VOLUNTEER.
Sanctuary Choir (Full or Half Year)
Choir sings weekly in traditional worship and also presents special concerts. VOLUNTEER.
Sanctuary Choir (Seasonal)
Choir rehearses weekly during Lent and Advent and sings in traditional services. There are short weekly rehearsals in October and November in preparation for the Christmas Cantata. VOLUNTEER.
Adult Handbells
Advanced and intermediate choirs rehearse weekly and participate in worship services approximately 6 times/year; also present two concerts/year and participate in festival. Previous experience required. To gain experience, Handbells 101 class is offered on Wednesday evenings. VOLUNTEER.
Soloists - Traditional Worship
Provides music in worship and a variety of church activities. VOLUNTEER.
Instrumentalists - Traditional Worship
A wide variety of instruments is used for special concerts and in some worship services. VOLUNTEER.
Traditional Music Ministries (Wherever Needed)
Be willing to be contacted to assist with seasonal and special events for Traditional Worship Ministries. VOLUNTEER.
Vocalists - Contemporary Worship
Persons with vocal ability and experience who want to use their gifts to honor God in worship leadership. This could be done by serving on a regular worship team, presenting special music, or as needed for special occasions. Audition required. VOLUNTEER.
Instrumentalists - Contemporary Worship
Persons with instrumental proficiency who desire to use their gifts to honor God in worship. Various instruments used in worship include, but are not limited to, guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, percussion, keyboards, brass, and strings. VOLUNTEER.
Contemporary Worship Support Team: Sound
Persons who enjoy music and have a discerning ear. Members of this team can distinguish between different voices and instruments in the music they are hearing. They are willing to learn, and be trained to create a sound in the worship services that enables the congregation to experience God's presence and enter into worship. VOLUNTEER.
Contemporary Worship Support Team: Lighting & Media
Persons with an interest in operating the lighting and media components of worship. Training will be provided. VOLUNTEER.
Contemporary Worship Support Team: Stage/Set Design
Persons with a creative flair to help with the visual aspect of worship. This team will arrange the stage to enhance and communicate seasonal themes or sermon themes and topics. VOLUNTEER.
Senior Saints
Fun, social choir rehearses weekly. Presents programs regularly in the community to other seniors, occasionally sings in worship. Open to all seniors 55+. VOLUNTEER.
Hanging of the Greens
Help decorate the Sanctuary and Great Hall for the Christmas season. VOLUNTEER.
