Serve in Hospitality Ministries

Traditional Service Ushers (8:30 or 11:00)

Distribute Friendship Pads and Offering Plates during 8:30 or 11:00 worship; volunteers are placed on a team which will serve for two months every year, every 6 months. VOLUNTEER.

Contemporary Service Ushers (9:40 or 11:00)

Distribute Friendship Pads and Offering Plates during 9:40 or 11:00 Contemporary worship; volunteers are placed on a team which will serve for two months each year. VOLUNTEER.

Traditional Communion Prep & Service (8:30 or 11:00)

Prepare elements in advance of services and assist with clean up for the 8:30 or 11:00 Traditional worship services. VOLUNTEER.

Contemporary Communion Prep & Service (9:40 or 11:00)

Prepare elements in advance of services and assist with clean up for the 8:30 or 11:00 Traditional worship services. VOLUNTEER.

Greeter Ministry

Welcoming worshippers to Central as they arrive on Sunday morning, holidays, and special events. Responsibilities include: cheerfully greeting people with a smile as they enter the Central campus and guiding visitors where they need to go. Greeters provide a positive first impression and are essential in setting the tone for the church experience of worshippers and visitors alike. They serve on Sunday mornings for one month at a time at the worship service of their choice and are called upon to serve for holidays and special events. VOLUNTEER.

New Member Host

Greet and accompany new members on their joining Sunday. Meet them before the service, sit with or near them during the service, stand up front with them at the close of the service and take their photo for the New Member Bulletin Boards and the Messenger. VOLUNTEER.

Pew Crew

Assists in cleaning the Sanctuary between or after morning services - pick up bulletins and trash, as well as communion cups. VOLUNTEER.

Barnabas Bunch

Be a Barnabas - "the Son of Encouragement"! Each week before and after worship, seek out people you don't know and warmly welcome them helping to make our worship settings as friendly as possible. VOLUNTEER.

Feed My Sheep

Help serve food, clean tables, wash dishes, and take money for Wednesday Night Live meals. VOLUNTEER.
