Non-Music Worship Volunteers

Acolyte Ministry (4th - 6th Grade)

The acolyte is a fundamental part of Christian tradition and is an important ministry at Central. Acolytes assist with various elements of traditional worship services and other special services and are scheduled to serve about 6 times per year. All are welcome who desire to serve!

Ushers

 Ushers welcome individuals to worships services and distribute bulletins, distribute Friendship Pads and assist with the offering during worship; ushers are placed on a team, and each team serves two months of the year.   

Pew Crew (Traditional Services)

Volunteers assist in straightening the pews after the 8:30 worship service, picking up bulletins and trash, as well as communion cups.

Communion Stewards (Traditional services)

Volunteers assist with preparation of communion elements prior to services and assist with cleanup afterward.

Communion Stewards (Contemporary services)

Volunteers assist with preparation of communion elements prior to services and assist Pastors in serving communion.
