Core Values & Mission

Central Student Ministries exist for the purpose of making Christ Central to Life for students in Northwest Arkansas.  In doing this, we place high priority on these core values to lead students to a lifetime of discipleship.

• Teaching Truth:  Jesus is Truth.  We are committed to teaching God’s unchanging Word in a relevant way so that students come to passionately pursue and apply Truth in their lives. (John 14:6; II Timothy 2:15)
• Building Relationships:  True life begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ and leads to real relationships with others.  We are committed to building intentional relationships between leaders and students for the purpose of discipleship.  (John 10:7-10, 15:12-17)
• Creating Community:  Authentic community comes from unity within the Body of Christ.  We are committed to creating an environment where students and their families are welcomed, loved, and feel safe to grow in their faith.  (Hebrews 10:23-25)
• Developing Student-Leaders:  Jesus teaches that true leadership is marked by serving others.  We are committed to building up passionate leaders for the cause of Christ.  (Mark 10:42-45)
• Equipping Families:  The foundation of faith begins at home.  We are committed to support parents as the primary spiritual leaders for their children.  (Deuteronomy 6)
