Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO)

Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO) is a non-profit corporation made up of churches in Fayetteville, of which Central is a founding member. CEO's purpose is to pool resources to more efficiently help the less fortunate in our community. CEO provides emergency cash vouchers to help individuals and families in need of utility paymentsrentgasprescription medications like antibiotics.

The vouchers are given out on a first-come-first-served basis as long as funds are available in a given week. The organization also provides emergency non-perishable food for needy individuals and families. CEO is a volunteer organization with no paid staff.

Easter Feed – Augustine Foundation

Each year, the Saturday before Easter Sunday, the Augustine Foundation sponsors an Easter Feed. Inspired by the Hope of Easter, this is an open invitation for a free, homecooked meal for anyone who is lonely, homeless, needy, a veteran, unemployed, underemployed, or suffering economic hardship. Volunteers from throughout the community contribute food, as well as preparing, serving, and delivering it. Faith In Action

Faith in Action is a volunteer based organization providing homebound seniors with free non-medical services to promote their independence, dignity and quality of life. Faith In Action volunteers are "trained" friends who visit and do what they can to make a real difference in the life of a needy individual or family. Through FIA, church members take an active role in improving Northwest Arkansas by expressing their love for God through social action. FIA is strengthening the community by bringing it together to fulfill a greater purpose: to love and care for others through the following types of service:

• Shopping Respite Care
• Friendly Visits 
• Telephone Reassurance 
• Chore Assistance 
• Yard-work 
• Minor Home Repairs

Friendship Families – U of A

The goal of the Friendship Family Program is to connect international students from the U of A with locals from the community in an effort to help the students learn more about the American culture. This is run by the university and is voluntary for any international student. A high percentage of international students never step foot in an American home for the entire time of their schooling. This is a wonderful opportunity to show Christian hospitality to a homesick student from a distant land, fulfilling God's purposes for believers as stated in Gen. 12:3, "all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." LifeSource is a non-profit organization located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. LifeSource uses a holistic approach to help individuals and families grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Their goal is to make a difference both now and for generations to come. They help families in stress by customizing services to meet their unique needs along with assisting them through programs and services. Loving Choices

Loving Choices opened its doors over 22 years ago to serve women facing an unexpected pregnancy. Today Loving Choices serves hundreds of women annually in our community with free and confidential services, and gives unconditional care to preserve and protect human life so that their clients can find hope. Perspectives of NWA

The Perspectives Study Program, whose national office is located in Fayetteville, is a ministry of the U.S. Center for World Mission - a non-denominational parachurch ministry that works with churches, mission agencies, and campus ministries around the world. Perspectives is not so much a course, as it is a "movement" involving tens of thousands of God's people throughout the world finding their niche in God's overall purpose to bless the nations. Washington County Jail Chaplain

Each week numerous volunteers give an hour of their time to visit detainees, both male and female, and share the love of Christ with them. Bible studies, worship services, prayer, and times of encouragement fill the cell blocks as those who are at their lowest are lifted up to the Father. Due to the expanding jail population, male volunteers are needed most. Help set someone free! WorkMatters

WorkMatters was conceived and launched at Central seven years ago as numerous Central men and women had a great need to help themselves and others "bridge the gap between their faith and work". Our work does matter to God, and it may be the most powerful platform we have to live it. However, it may also be the most difficult place to live it out, as well!

WorkMatters is now a non-profit organization serving Northwest Arkansas and the world with the single purpose of helping men and women grow in their relationship with Christ through their work. Young Life

Young Life is an outreach ministry that seeks to provide every adolescent with an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him. Adult volunteers equip older teens to invest their lives in younger kids in order to introduce them to God's love.
