
Check-in Procedures and Policies
- To ensure the safety of your child, all children must be checked in by a parent or guardian. Check in your child on one of the touch-screen stations located at the Welcome Desk on the first floor of the Student Ministries Building.
- A label and receipt will be printed for you. Place the label on your child. Keep the receipt with you until you pick up your child.
- Leave your cell phone on vibrate. If you do not have a cell phone, pick up a pager from a ministry team member at the Welcome Desk.
- Childcare is only provided for Central UMC worship services, classes, and events with the understanding that parent or guardians will remain on campus at all times.
- Please pick up your child promptly. The Ministry Team members caring for your children need to pick up their own children and/or prepare their hearts for worship. Please be respectful of their time.
- Present your receipt at the door of your child’s classroom. For the safety of the children, please leave the classroom door closed while picking up your child.
- For safety purposes, only the person or responsible party that drops off a child will be allowed to pick the child up. A non-parent under the age of 18 WILL NOT be allowed to sign a child in or pick them up.
Note: The cutoff birth date for preschool age groups is August 1st. Preschoolers whose birthdays are after August 1st will be placed in the younger age group.
