Access Ministries for Children
IN-CLASS SUPPORT
Accommodations and support are provided as needed in the classroom.
INDIVIDUALIZED PLANNING
Each child’s unique learning needs are addressed in a joint planning meeting with the teachers, parents, and ministry team members.
1:1 SUPPORT
If the parents desire, or it becomes apparent that the child needs more support, an Access Ministries team member will be assigned to work with the child in a dedicated classroom during the 9:40 a.m. service each Sunday.
DISABILITY AWARENESS TRAINING
Ongoing training is available to learn more about disabilities and how to support those who have a disability in the classroom, at home, or in the community.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Kids Night Out, family support groups, and other special events will be held throughout the year to support our members with disabilities and their families.
