Videos, lectures, and discussions are included in the two-hour meeting time and daily Bible readings, along with information from a manual, make up the individual study. Added bonuses are the close relationships within the group and times of sharing and prayer.

Disciple Course Descriptions

There are four levels to the Basic Disciple Study, each study building upon the previous one:

Disciple I - Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study
An overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. One sees the “Big Picture” of how the Bible fits together and reads over 70% of the Bible during this time.

Disciple II - Into the Word, Into the World
A concentrated study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. This class gives a clear sense of the beginnings of God's relationship to His people and the beginnings of the Christian church which was formed from the new covenant established by Jesus.

Disciple III - Remember Who You Are
A study of the Old Testament Prophets and the writings of the Apostle Paul. This class explores the words of God to His people as they prepared for the coming Messiah and Paul's words to the new churches that link the Old Testament teachings with the teachings of Jesus for the church today.

Disciple IV - Under the Tree of Life
The writings of the Old Testament are studied, along with the writings of John, James, and Jude in the New Testament. The study of Revelation shows the long-suffering love of God and the extravagant climax of the message and the promise.

The Second Coming
This is a study of Old and New Testament references abouth the great event of Jesus' return to earth. Realities of Heaven and Hell are explored, as well as prophecies and signs of end-time events. Besides the study of Revelation, portions of Ezekiel, Daniel, Thessalonians, and other scriptures are covered.

The Apprentice Series: A Curriculum of Christlikeness
Apprentices bind themselves to another person to become like them. To learn to think like they think, to know what they know, and to be able to do what they do. The Apprentice Series follows a simple process for bringing about transformation in our lives as we bind ourselves to Christ in a small, accountable community of believers. By taking a closer look at the God Jesus revealed, we will explore how our beliefs about God, ourselves, and our world shape our lives. Also, we will take part in spiritual practices to experience God's love and provision. The Apprentice Series is available for those who have completed Disciple Classes I - IV.
