Pastoral Staff

Rev. J. Anthony Holifield

Senior Pastor

Tony has served as Central's Senior Pastor since June 1995. He is married to Sarah. They have one son, Rob, and two grandsons.

Rev. Steven K. Pulliam

Pastor of Discipleship

Steve helps fulfill the vision of the church through sharing pastoral responsibilities, emphasizing discipleship ministries & pastoral care. Steve has served at Central since June 2002.

Rev. Clefton S. Vaughan

Pastor of Outreach

Clefton helps fulfill the vision of the church by overseeing Outreach Ministries, including Men’s, Women’s, and Prayer Ministries. Clefton has served at Central since July 2008.

Dr. Jack A. Wilson

Pastor Emeritus

Dr. Jack Wilson served as Senior Pastor at Central from 1987 to 1995. Jack and his wife, Joanna, have been a part of the Central family since their retirement, and Jack assists the ministries of Central in various capacities.

Program Staff

Brown, Andrew

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT MINISTRIES

Andrew coordinates programming that fosters spiritual growth to students, emphasizing junior high school (8th – 9th grade). Andrew has served on the Central staff since August 2009.

Farrell, Jody

Director of Missions & Lay Mobilization

Jody coordinates lay ministries by supervising member participation in church ministries and oversees mission programs. Jody has served at Central since July 2006.

Gibson, Greg

Director of Student Ministries

Greg supervises all student ministries from 6th grade through university ministries. His emphasis is in Senior High ministry programming. Greg has served at Central since July 1996.

Hightower, Dr. Jim

Director of Counseling & Contemporary Worship

Jim provides Christian counseling for adults and coordinates pre-marital counseling and he oversees all music & media for weekly contemporary services. Jim has served at Central since January 1988.

Hoggard, Keith

Associate Director of Student Ministries

Keith provides programming that fosters spiritual growth to students, emphasizing middle school and junior high (6th – 9th grade). Keith has served on the Central staff since August 2000.

Kidd, Jennifer

Associate Director of Children's Ministries

Jennifer oversees programs and events for preschool-aged children, including providing & supporting leaders for Sunday School & Tiny Tims classes. Jennifer has served at Central since August 2002.

Magoulick, Kelly

Assistant Director of Children's Ministries

Kelly helps fulfill the church’s need for Christ-centered nursery care for children during Sunday worship services, Wednesday nights and other events. Kelly has served at Central since January 2009.

Mathias, Jane

Director Central's Center for Children & Hand in Hand Learning Center

Jane ensures that all who participate in weekday childcare at Central’s Center for Children receive the highest quality childcare and early education. Jane has served at Central since August 2001.

McClinton, Kenneth

Director of CAC & Technology Ministries

Kenneth organizes usage of Central’s Activities Center (CAC). He also is responsible for media & technology needs of Central’s employees and worship services. Kenneth has served at Central since November 1997.

Russell, Fenner

Director of Traditional Music Worship Ministries

Fenner oversees our traditional worship services and music program, including choirs, handbells, and ensembles for all age groups. Fenner has served at Central since September 2001.

Swain, Brian

Administrator

Brian provides administrative leadership and strategic oversight to all of the ministries, staff, and operations of the church. Brian has served at Central since January 2000.

Williams, Susan

Director of Children's Ministries

Susan plans and organizes a comprehensive program of activities designed to meet the interests and needs of children from pre-school to fifth grade. Susan has served at Central since August 2002.

Witte, Kim

Lay Pastor of Visitation

Under the direction of the Pastor of Outreach, Kim helps fulfill the need of the church by giving special emphasis and oversight to visiting those who are hospitalized and in nursing homes, retirement homes and rehab facilities and those who are not able to leave their homes for worship in hopes of keeping them connected to the church. Kim has served at Central since December 2011.
